The Muhlenberg Career Center partners with students, faculty, staff, employers and alumni to develop innovative career exploration resources and programs.
The world of work is changing at an unprecedented pace. From the moment a student steps on campus the Career Center assists them to explore major areas of interest and career paths, gain experience, connect with alumni/industry professionals, develop expertise through internships and other industry immersion programs, launch post graduation and excel in their careers.
By the end of the first semester all first-year students complete a Muhlenberg Action Plan (MAP). It is a guiding document for students to build knowledge around the world of work, confidence in their skills and the ability to articulate the power of their liberal arts education.

A proposed partnership between humanities faculty and the Career Center earned a Vocation Across the Academy Grant from the Council of Independent Colleges.

Her role with the National League of Cities involves promoting smarter surfaces such as green spaces, green roofs and rooftop solar to lower urban temperatures and reduce the risk of flooding.
Samantha Winegard ’24 brought the knowledge on chronic absenteeism she’d developed in a spring psychology course to a local nonprofit this summer.
Gordon, who studied psychology at Muhlenberg, is working with The Jed Foundation (JED) as it expands its programming in partnership with school districts nationwide.
